International Collaborative Opportunity
Intercontinental Academia ‘Laws: Rigidity and Dynamics’

We are delighted to announce a collaboration with IAS Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (IAS NTU) led by Professor Mike Hannon and IAS NTU’s Director and UoB Alumnus, Professor KK Phua.
The ICA seeks to create a global network of future research leaders by constructing an arena in which the very best early- and mid-career scholars will work together on paradigm-shifting cross-disciplinary research, mentored by some of the most eminent researchers from across the globe. The different concepts of ‘laws’ will be explored across disciplines from Medicine to Linguistics, Chemistry to Music, History to Physics and beyond, and this event will bring three Nobel Laureates and many current and next-generation leading intellectuals to events in Birmingham and Singapore.
The call for UoB academic staff to participate is open until 15 August. Click here for full details of ICA programme and how to make an application.
