IDD is delighted to welcome six new staff members: Professor Nic Cheeseman, Professor David Hudson, Dr Niheer Dasandi, Dr Mary Menton, Dr Susan Dodsworth and Dr Rosita Armytage.

New research awards
|
IDD has secured four new research awards since the end of 2016 in natural resource governance, corruption, census politics and democracy.

DLP contributes to International Development Committee inquiries
|
DLP researchers have given evidence at two recent inquiries of the UK Parliament's International Development Committee. Heather Marquette and Alina Rocha Menocal shared findings on Tackling corruption overseas, highlighting the importance of policy coherence and of understanding why people resort to corruption. Suda Perera shared insights on how to improve stability and development in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
