DELPHI Module 14 considers types of assessment, with section 14.3 dealing with approaches to assessing speaking. The focus there is how to assess speaking (the pros and cons of different types of test, their organization, and so on). Section 6.6 will therefore not duplicate that material but will focus instead on what should be tested, on considerations of marking, and on how to ensure progression from year to year.
