Important parking information – June open days
|
The University will be holding open days on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 June. Open day is a core recruitment activity for the University and will bring a large number of prospective students to the campus each day. As a result there will be increased traffic in and around campus and pressure on parking. Please use an alternative mode of transport where possible. Visitors will be directed to North, North East and Pritchatts Road car parks and ‘park and ride’ facilities will be operating at King Edward's School playing fields to further relieve congestion and parking problems.

Work to improve the library’s collections and prepare for the move to the new library will begin 8–19 June, when most of the print journals from the Main Library will be removed and put into storage until early next year to make way for a new sequence of reclassified books (approx. 300,000). This work will facilitate the move to the new library and help Library Services to streamline the ordering of new books. During the stock moves Library Services will be working hard to keep disruption to a minimum.
