Assessment task

Note: Activity cycle 1 is optional for DELPHI purposes, so this task is only included as a suggested assessment for anyone wishing to use this material as part of a more extensive teacher education programme.

Draw a diagram, or make a list, of the essential and desirable conditions for second language acquisition; each item should be accompanied by very brief (between 5 and 20 words) note-form explanations. You can use the gapped diagram you printed or copied in section 4.1.3 (Summary) as the basis for this.

This will form the first entry for your materials file. If you are using the materials file template provided, this item should be numbered 1.1, page 1, and placed in part I of the file.
