What counts as a task?

In this activity cycle, we start by defining what we mean by 'task' for language learning purposes. We then consider what sort of language is produced when people do tasks, and to what extent we can predict, and plan for this. Finally, we identify different types of task that can be used for language learning, and consider what levels of students each type might be used with.
