Task One: your own post-reading activity
- Now you have completed the
module, go back to the 'Before' and 'After' questions
that you answered at the start and repeat the exercise in the light
of your work on the module. Have you changed your mind about any of
the items? If possible, compare your responses with those of a colleague
who has also worked on the module, and discuss any issues you are still
unsure about. You may find it helpful to see which sections of the module
relate to which statement:

commentary (c 1500 words) exploring the relationship of these statements
to the role of L2 reading in both your teaching and your own learning
of the target language (or English, if it is not your mother tongue).
In addition to comparing your 'Before' and 'After' answers, refer back
to Module 1 and the list of personal
teaching principles you drew up there:
- Are these consistent with your responses to the 'Before and After' task?
- Are there any contradictions?
- Is there anything in your principles you would now modify? Include reflection on these questions in your commentary.
